Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork sausages
  • 2 tbsp mild curry powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the curry powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the curry seasoning blend.
  • Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil.
  • Working in batches if necessary, add the sausages to the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they're nicely browned on the outside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and sprinkle the curry seasoning over the sausages, turning to coat them evenly.
  • Continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes, turning the sausages occasionally, until they're cooked through and the seasoning has formed a lovely crust.
  • Transfer the cooked curry sausages to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
