Ingredients

  • 4 thick slices sourdough bread
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8-12 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • Red pepper flakes optional, but recommended for that extra kick!

Instructions

  • First things first - crank that oven up to 400°F (200°C). Trust me, this temperature is our sweet spot for perfect crispiness!
  • Here's my secret weapon step: Brush both sides of your bread slices with olive oil. This is what gives us that gorgeous golden crunch!
