Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 1 ½ cups dark or milk chocolate chopped
  • Pinch of sea salt optional
  • Spices like cinnamon or cayenne pepper optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and roast the almonds for 5-8 minutes until fragrant.
  • While the almonds are cooling, melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until fully melted.
  • Add the roasted almonds into the melted chocolate, stirring to coat each one evenly.
  • Using a fork, remove the almonds one by one, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Optional: sprinkle sea salt or spices over the almonds before the chocolate sets.
  • Let the almonds cool and harden in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
