water

shredded cheddar cheese

hredded Gruyere cheese

shredded mozzarella cheese

milk or cream

unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste

garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
Put macaroni and water in the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set on high pressure for 4 minutes.
Quick-release the pressure. You may want to drain the excess water.
Add the butter, cheddar, gruyere, and mozzarella, mixing well to combine. While stirring, add milk or cream in a slow stream.
Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Serve right away.
Notes
For a crispy crust, place under the broiler for 2 minutes and broil the breadcrumbs.
You can substitute elbow macaroni for most short types of pasta.
