Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef 80% lean
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the glaze:
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup ketchup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the glaze ingredients: 1/4 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
