Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugars together.
  • Beat in the eggs and mashed bananas until combined.
  • Gently fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Finally, fold in the chopped nuts.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool before slicing.
